There’s an old saying about how frogs sitting in a pan of water don’t notice it coming to the boil, because it happens so gradually.
Sliding doors can be a bit like that too. You don’t notice the rollers starting to wear out because it happens so gradually.
Maybe it’s getting a little harder to open, or there’s a wobble on the track?
Problem is, by the time it becomes very noticeable (like when the water starts boiling) it can be too late – as seized rollers grind away the soft aluminium track meaning costly repairs.
So spend a moment checking out your sliding door. Maybe give the bottom track a vacuum to keep it clean. And if it is becoming a bit of a drag to open, don’t be like a frog.
Replace those rollers pronto.
